Leadership & Executive Coaching

You don’t need to have all the answers.

The further you move into leadership, the fewer places there are where you can say “I don’t know,” “I’m not sure,” or simply think out loud.

That’s where coaching can help.

What brings people to coaching?

You don’t need a crisis. And you certainly don’t need fixing. Sometimes something simply needs to shift.

Stepping into Leadership
Finding your own way of leading when what got you here isn’t necessarily what you need next.
Confidence & Presence
Understanding how you show up, how others experience you and where you want greater choice.
Change & Transition
Navigating what’s changing, what you’re leaving behind and what might be emerging.
Relationships & Influence
Working with difficult dynamics, boundaries, communication and the realities of leading other people.
Decisions & Direction
Creating enough space around an issue to see beyond the immediate pressure.
What’s next?
Exploring the uncomfortable — and sometimes exciting — sense that something needs to change.

Coaching isn’t about becoming someone else.

It’s about becoming more aware of who you already are, how you think, how you lead, what you avoid, what you value and the choices available to you.

What happens in executive coaching?

We start with you.

There is no predetermined programme. And I don’t arrive with a folder containing the seven things you need to do to become a better leader.

We begin with what’s happening now.

Sometimes our conversations will be challenging. Sometimes reflective. There will probably be laughter. And sometimes silence will do more work than another question.

My role isn’t to give you my answers. It’s to help create the conditions in which you can discover more of yours.

And what if the answer isn’t another answer?

You might just need somewhere better to think.

I don’t see coaching as a process for repairing people.

You’re already bringing experience, intelligence, instincts, successes, mistakes and a lifetime of learning into the room.

Coaching isn’t about removing any of that.

It’s about becoming more curious about it.

Sometimes the question you’ve been trying to answer isn’t actually the question that matters.

Who do I coach?

People carrying responsibility.

I work with senior professionals, managers and executives across European institutions, international organisations, financial services, technology, education, NGOs and private businesses.

Some are experienced executives. Others are stepping into leadership for the first time.

What connects them isn’t a job title.

It’s a willingness to be curious about themselves, their situation and what could be different.

You don’t need to be a certain kind of leader.

Why work with me?

Experience matters. So does how we work together.

I’m an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with more than 20 years’ experience across leadership, learning and coaching.

Alongside my work with leaders, I work as a coach supervisor and mentor coach. That broader perspective shapes how I listen — not only to you, but to relationships, patterns and the systems around you.

I’m curious. I’ll challenge you. I’m comfortable not knowing.

I’ll stay with a question when it deserves more time rather than rushing towards an answer. I’ll notice what keeps appearing. And I’ll take our work seriously without believing that every conversation needs to feel serious.

I won’t pretend to know your life better than you do.

“Gareth has helped me to cultivate new insights into how I am thinking about and approaching my personal and professional relationships and responsibilities. These have helped me to develop my leadership practice in particular. Conversations are sensitively managed, with a healthy amount of supportive challenge! I would thoroughly recommend working with Gareth.”

How could we work together?

Coaching should fit around the reality of your life and leadership — not the other way around.

BRUSSELS & ONLINE

Wherever works.

I’m based in Brussels and work with clients in person and online, across Belgium and internationally.

Online coaching isn’t a lesser version of the work. For many clients, the distance from their usual working environment actually creates more space to think.

Wherever we meet, the principle is the same: a confidential space where you don’t need to perform, impress or already know the answer.

INVESTMENT

No one-size-fits-all package.

I work with both private clients and organisations, so there isn’t a single fee or format for executive coaching.

Some people come with something specific they want to explore over several sessions. Others make coaching part of their ongoing leadership practice. Organisations may sponsor coaching as part of leadership development or transition.

We’ll agree the approach — and the cost — before you make any commitment.

Our initial discovery conversation is FREE.

You don’t need to know exactly what you need.

Curiosity is enough.

A discovery call isn’t a coaching session and it isn’t a sales pitch. It’s simply a chance for us to meet, explore what brings you here and decide whether working together feels right.

There’s more to explore…
