I find that people pleasing is the biggest compromise to personal effectiveness. And I say that as a 'retired people-pleaser'. Coaching with me is an effective method to reduce your inner conflict, find the freedom of your expression and feel comfortable saying YES to what you want.
Drop me a message to connect - we'll get to the heart of your situation and have you moving forward as soon as you're ready.
discovery callDog Dad. Avid Home Baker. Mediocre Marathon Runner. I'm also the Director of Business Development for Nova Terra Coaching & Consultancy and an accredited coach with the ICF to the PCC level. I'm committed to the ICF ethics and values and wider 'Coach Approach' as a way of being. I'm passionate about promoting the coaching industry as an agent for change - and believe in delivering high quality, presence based training. Wherever you find yourself, together we will move through whatever is holding you back towards whatever you need to propel yourself forward.
I don't know how you do it - but every time you shine a light upon something that was lurking in the dark. I feel better for our time together.
In addition to one on one coaching, I also offer Supervision for leaders, coaches and teams.
Leadership and coaching supervision is a collaborative process where one professional is fully present with another, providing support in all aspects of their work. It respects adult learning principles by fostering a reflective, safe, and trusting environment where leaders and coaches can develop their emotional intelligence, leadership skills, and behaviours.
Through mindful, heart-to-heart conversations, supervisors walk alongside leaders, helping them grow in a meaningful way.
Discover More About My Journey with SupervisionWhat we gain in coaching - we give back; we see this in our clients. In improving how we show up as coaches, mentor coaching is not only advancing the progress of our clients, but ourselves and the coaching profession. We discover the quintessential truth when it comes to coaching - that less, really is more. Here's what a survey of coaches said they appreciate in my mentor coaching:
Without Gareth, my life and career would have continued just fine. I wasn’t in some existential struggle. I was just curious to learn more about coaching.
I thought I knew what coaching involved- but it involved so much more. Just being around Gareth- his patience, his challenge, his ability to listen… it was next level.
I satisfied my curiosity. And now he’s my go to person whenever I need a moment for self-reflection, motivation (or challenge).
I’ve been coached for years before – or at least what I thought I was coaching. Working with Gareth was totally different. Challenging yet understanding. Provoking yet supportive. I’ve been blown away by how good a listener he is – I genuinely feel like a better version of me with him in my life.
Gareth is confident, calm and collected. Would recommend him without question or hesitation.
Gareth’s coaching style combines a professional, rational approach with a fun and generous personality. He will keep you focused on your goals while not hesitating to challenge your beliefs and self-imposed limitations. And he celebrates your successes – big and small – along with you! I wholeheartedly recommend him as a coach, especially for people needing a boost in assertiveness or making important decisions in life.
Gareth is a warm and open coach who is not afraid of asking challenging questions to help you see things from a new perspective. He brings fun and playfulness to interactions but always shows sensitivity to emotional topics. I never fail to enjoy my sessions with Gareth and really appreciate the way he accompanies my thought process to bring me to some unexpected conclusions.
No matter how smart or successful you think you are in your life, we have to remember that we are human, we are vulnerable, we are allowed to make mistakes both in personal and professional life. We are struggling and we are not alone. The definition of not being alone is Gareth. (more…)
When I found Gareth I was looking for movement in my professional and personal life. I wanted to clarify what was achievable for me – what I could solidify for me given the inevitable changes that were approaching me in my life. I found Gareth’s style to be friendly, playful and direct. I appreciated his humour and his ability to let me discover what the best decisions were for me. (more…)
Confidence was never been an issue for me, but maintaining the energy and stamina to keep that confidence at a high during critical times (like the submission of my PhD) was difficult. Having the space and time to really see my world for what it was, what was blocking my energy – and having someone to raise my awareness to this – gave me the clarity and perspective I needed.
Supervision for leaders, coaches, and teams offers a powerful, reflective space where professionals can enhance their skills, navigate challenges, and grow in confidence.
Through a collaborative and supportive process, supervision helps you sharpen your leadership, improve emotional intelligence, and build stronger, cohesive teams.
Invest in supervision to elevate your practice, foster personal growth, and lead with greater clarity and impact.
Workshops take place on an ad hoc basis dependent on demand. Please sign up below to register for interest.

APPLY TODAYIf you’d told me a year ago that I’d be holding in my hands my own book, The Ultimate Coaching Handbook: 101 Ways to Support Your Practice, I wouldn’t have believed you. Writing a book had been on my list for years (16+ to be precise), but for a long time, it stayed a background goal […]
